Edit text after typing?

After much frustrating trial and error, I figured out that I could, in fact, change the color of text after it has been typed. What I can't seem to do is change the size of text after it has been typed. Is there a way?

Never mind. Just figured out that finger-pinching does it. I was looking for a more "word-processy" solution.
