I am using an ipad 3 with iOS 6.0.1 and I am just getting started. I tried to make a puppet using a cut out of my face on the soldiers . I did the cut out successfully and I can link my face to the puppet with triple taps but one of the arms will not connect no matter how many times I triple tap it. Sometimes it connects to the rotating sun but not to the body of the soldier. Also in the tracks and frame button the puppet does not even show up just the stuff in the background. It will not let me scroll up and down either. Thanks.

Please make sure that the arm is overlapping the body and that you are tapping on a point that is over both objects. This point will then become the "anchor point" and the arm will be able to revolve around it.
If this is difficult to do when both objects are small, please try to scale them up (both) by pinching. After you successfully join the objects, you will be able to scale them down together.
Concerning the scrolling up and down of the track view - there is a scrollable area on the left side (marked by grey stripes) - only there you can scroll the tracks up and down.
