I just recently used Explain Everything for the first time and the video creation worked beautifully. When I tried to upload the file to Evernote, it went through the compression process successfully but when I picked a folder to drop the file in, it began the process of exporting the file to Evernote, but the request timed out after only a few minutes. I tried it a second time and exported it to dropbox and had no issues. I tried again with Evernote just to see if it would work but I had the same error occur. There were no issues with Dropbox, so it's not a huge issue but it would be nice to have files saved directly to Evernote. Some facts: Upload was over wifi Using iPad with retina display (4th gen) The file was 47.4MB (I have Evernote premium so I have 1 GB of monthly upload space)
Praises for this product: the college freshman bio students that I help teach loved the video and I will be getting good use out of this remarkable app. I pretty much bought an iPad when I saw this app existed.
Thank you!

Please check if you're using the latest 1.93 version from the App Store (released on November 29th). To find the version number – please go into Help (on the Explain Everything start screen, where you see all your projects , "Help" is the button in the upper right corner) and look to the right, just under "About" - it should be "Version 1.93 (November 2012)". If you're using an earlier version, please update.
As the first step, please go to Preferences / Account linkage and try setting "Evernote" to OFF then ON. Evernote will again ask you for confirmation. Please input your username and password and let us know if it works.
Afterwards, please check if the iPad-native Evernote app (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/evernote/id281796108?mt=8) works OK on your network. Some WiFi networks block access to certain services (eg. at schools).
You can always export the Explain Everything presentation to a movie in your Photo Library and then upload it to Evernote from there. Check if it works.
If the Evernote app works, and Explain Everything does not, please get back to us at support@morriscooke.com with the following additional information:
1. Do you have an iPad, iPad 2, iPad 3rd generation, iPad 4th generation, iPad mini? 2. What iOS version do you have - find it out under "Settings -> About". There's a line that says "Version" and eg. 6.0 (10A403). 3. Is your iPad jailbroken? 4. How much free space is available on your iPad?
We'll get back to you with more solutions!
