working outside of the camera's view

Hi !
Is there a way to put the puppet outside of the working area in order to control their entrances and exits from the scene ?
Maybe like decrease the size of the working areas's view, to see the whole scene with the off screen area.
If not, it would be a nice and useful feature to add
I hope this make sense.

You can use the camera view for that. In the general preferences, switch on "Camera manipulation" to ON. You'll get a frame, that will then mark the field of view visible when playing back a recorded track.
Please look at the user manual, chapter "Camera angles" to get familiar with the camera view:
