I love this app. I am a teacher and I will use it next week. However, the video compression for email takes a very long time for a 2 minute video on an imported pdf file. Are there any options for getting video compression faster. Educreations seems to do it much faster.

Hi Tobias,
we are working on it! :-) Compression speed is improved in the "just waiting to be released" 1.50 version.
Educreations does not compress the files - it just sends them to a server that plays them for you.
Explain Everything is right now the only app that does compression on your device - and you own all the content. You can edit the EE-made movies in iMovie and publish them in YouTube. You cannot do that in any other similar app (at least not an app with a similar set of features!).
We are all the time thinking on improving Explain Everything and you will see it in all the upcoming updates!
Best regards, Piotr

Version 1.51.
I have a recorded a lesson with 12 slides, 59:04 total time, that keeps crashing during video export. The lesson is saved in the app.
Tried movie export to dropbox, roll, changing resolution, quality, but it keeps crashing at slide 4 or 5.
What shall I do now?

Hi Giovanni,
can you please save your .XPL presentation file to Dropbox and send us the link? (support@morriscooke.com). We'll check what's wrong.
Best regards, Piotr

Unfortunately keeps crashing also during dropbox save. The error message is "Upload failed. The operation couldn't be completed. (NSURLErrorDomain error -1001.)".

Hi Giovanni,
we improved a few things in the newest 1.60 release. Please update your app and check whether compression of your project works. If not, and if you still cannot save the XPL file to Dropbox, please connect your iPad to your computer and download the file via iTunes file sharing. Then upload to Dropbox via Finder (on Mac) or Explorer (on Windows), and send us the shareable link (support@morriscooke.com). We'll check it and get back to you. Best, Piotr
