Whenever I press "play" on this slide, EE crashes. Things I tried with no success: 1. kill all apps 2. restart iPad2 3. try running it on a different iPad2 Nothing works -- it always crashes. It's a simple slide with a picture, some text and 22 secs of audio. The EE project file is too large to post as an attachment in this forum (the limit is 1MB), so I've placed it at in a public dropbox -- the link is db.tt/4Kr3Apx9Could you please take a look. Thank you Dina

Hi Dina, thank you for such a good problem description and a test case. A fix for this problem will appear in the next update of Explain Everything (in approximately 2 weeks from now). For now, as a workaround, please try to delete and record just this slide again. It has some unexpected internal inconsistencies that cause the app to crash. Best regards, Piotr

Thanks for the update. Is there any specific action that may have caused the inconsistency, i.e. is there anything I can tell the students NOT to do in order to avoid the crash?

Hard to tell. It seems that one of the text boxes was created, then left empty. Or maybe created, edited, and then all the text was deleted.
So the only suggestion would be not to create empty text boxes (for the next 2 weeks) :-)
