Cutting out a puppet is not easy. Could there be an undo function? I know you can zoom in a little, but not that much. Would love more control. I was pleased to give you the second review and 5 stars. Thanks for a great app.

Thank you for great review! Be sure that we're working on making PhotoPuppet better with each update we have in our pipeline - and reviews like yours give us energy to work. For now easiest way to undo cut-out is to use 'CLEAR' button. In the future we'll implement some more tools in Frame editor including UNDO for all available tools.

You have a great app on your hands and I can see this becoming the top animation app for the iPad. I have a couple of suggestions for simplifying puppet creation: 1. It would be great if you could import png's and preserve transparency. Then I could bring in my own artwork. 2. Add function to paste from clipboard. Makes it easy to bring in pics from other apps. 3. Allow magic wand selection in order to remove a puppet's background. Currently the color removal tool removes color even in non-contingent areas which ends up making my puppets have holes in them.
Keep up the good work. I look forward to the next update.

Hi Starvin Marvin,
yes, of course - point 1) works already. PNGs with transparency are supported out-of-the-box!
Quoting the manual (http://photopuppet.me/en/animation-tips/instruction-manual):
If you want to make an ‘elegant’ puppet – you can use Photoshop or Gimp – cut-out the puppet there and save as a PNG file with transparency information. Then, send the PNG file (or files) to the email account that you have also set up on your iPad. Then: 1. Open the email on your iPad 2. Wait until you see all the images loaded (and actually shown as images). If some of them are only shown as icons, please tap on the icons once, to let them load fully. 3. Tap and hold on any of the images - a menu should pop put (save this image / save images: <number of images>). Please select "Save Images". 4. After this you will have all the attached pictures added to your photo library. From now on, you may use all those pictures just as you would with our templates - while adding the puppets, select "Photo library" - and you will see all of them there. Because you saved them with transparency information, it is preserved also in the photo library, and later in PhotoPuppet.
Concerning points 2 and 3 - stay tuned, updates are coming!
And by the way - please don't forget to rate our app in the store! These ratings keep us going, and they disappear with any new updates, so we really appreciate rating the app again and again :-)
Best regards, Piotr Sliwinski / morriscooke.com
