Text & Crashing Issues

Hello,

I LOVE the potential for this app, and I am actually looking at using it for a large corporate education project, but I am running into a couple of show-stoppers:

1) I am recording both text entry and drawing for video playback. When I try to enter text on the bottom half of the screen, the text box automatically jumps to the top of the screen when typing, and then pops back to its original position after hitting the check box. I thought this was a result of the on-screen keyboard, so I bought a bluetooth keyboard, but I'm still seeing the problem. The problem is really that the recording captures this jump, so it removes my ability to capture a continuous top-to-bottom drawing.

2) The app crashes A LOT as I'm recording, pausing, re-recording, etc. It also crashes consistently when I try to export to mp4.

(It would also be very helpful to be able to scroll through the recording, ff and rewind, and begin re-recording at certain spots when needed... but this is not a show-stopper. I can work around this in post production.)

I am on a brand new iPad2 with very little installed and plenty of available resources. Could you help me find a workaround or post a fix?

I had an issue with crashing when exporting today. I noticed that it crashed when exporting the second slide so I deleted just that slide using the slide sorter and re-recorded it. It then exported so something was wrong with that one slide.

OK, we will fix the problem with text boxes jumping up after showing the keyboard.
We thought of the text boxes as something that presents a static text (that is you create the text box in pause mode) and thought about showing the letters appear during recording as a funny feature. It seems that many people are using that too for recording - so you're absolutely right on this!

Regarding crashing - we tested the app with multiple users on iPad 1 and 2's - this really depends on the kind of content you are using (big pictures?). It's an open ended tool and sometimes we are finding that some users go around our lines of thinking and do actions that we did not expect! :-)

Please send us the .XPL project file that you have trouble exporting to MP4 - we will look at it.
If you have a project that is also crashing at a certain stage, please send us the XPL file from the state "just before crash" - and then send us also the photo that causes the app to crash after inserting it into the project. The mail address is support (at) morriscooke.com

Also, if the project is large (I suppose it is) then please set up a Dropbox account and share the project via a Dropbox link.
