I attempted to use the Import from Photos option when creating a new project and I keep getting the following message: "Error - Album Error: User denied access - (null)."
Any suggestions?

You probably switched off location services for EE in settings.
We don't do any location tracking (or any tracking for that matter)! The location services request is built into the multiple photo import tool which we chose to use in EE, but we don't actually make use of it.
You can go to your iPad settings -> locations to turn it back on for EE. Or you can do single image imports once on the design screen.
