Hey there... Love photopuppet, and was very excited to discover it. Just before I went off on a year long journey around this planet, I started playing with photopuppet, and had my heart set on making a video journal of my travels, and the people I have met.... My issue is that I can not for the life of me get photopuppet to create usable puppets from pictures I have taken. I import the picture, follow the steps in the video, and find that the face does not clip, or if it does, I can not resize it to fit the body. I have spent hours (and thats no exaggeration!) on trying to put together a series of puppets to put together my first video, and I find that I can not get one made! Could someone who has some success at using this technique help me out? I am starting to believe its a bug in the code, cause no matter how I attack the problem, I cant seem to get it to work. I am using the latest photopuppet on a ipad2. Any and all help would be appreciated. I feel that photopuppet is great, and means I can work fast, so getting over these little issues can become very frustrating. -Icesplice

Hi Icesplice,
are you using PhotoPuppet Go, HD or the original old PhotoPuppet for iPad?
From the description of the problem, I suppose that you're using PhotoPuppet Go and trying to attach the face to one of the ready-made bodies. Is that correct?
Please save the project in which you're having trouble and send it to us ("via Project to mail") to support@morriscooke.com
I will be more than happy to help. Best regards, Piotr

Dear Photopuppet HD,
Two questions:
- Once I've created a puppet (including movable parts), is it possible to use that puppet again in another scene, or do I have to re-build it everytime?
- How can I create templates? I saw in one tutorial video (adding wheels), when the demonstrator when to select a wheel (selecting the green cross button, there was a choice for "templates" in addition to iPad photos, and Puppet Gallery.

1. Yes, you can save the puppet to the "Puppet gallery". Switch on the track view, then press "Edit track" on the track of this particular puppet (or track of any part of the puppet, if the puppet consists of multiple objects). Then tap on "Save as puppet". The puppet will appear in the Puppet Gallery and you'll be able to pull it out of the gallery by "+" and then "Puppet Gallery".
2. The templates are only supplied by us, but you can "Save as background" a scene - look at the top in the "Save" menu - there's "Save as background". Then you'll be able to insert a scene from the puppet gallery->backgrounds.
